Temporary Road Closure - Local Road L-4010 at Bective Bridge, Bective 

 

Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council intends to close the L-4010 at the townland of Bective.

This closure is required to facilitate remedial works to Bective Bridge.

 

Duration

The closure will commence at 9.30am on Monday, 5th November 2018 and continue to 4.30pm on Friday, 9th November 2018.

Eastbound on the L-4010

Take the R161 southbound towards Trim for a distance of 5.8km to its junction with the R154 in Trim. At the junction with the R154, turn left and travel for a distance of 0.8km to the roundabout. At the roundabout, turn left and continue on the R154 for a distance of 3km to its junction with the L-2203. At the junction turn left and continue for a distance of 4.7km and arrive on the east side of the bridge.

 

Westbound on the L-4010

Take the L-2203 southbound for a distance of 4.7km to its junction with the R154. At the junction, turn right and travel for a distance of 3km to the roundabout in Trim. At the roundabout, turn right and continue on the R154 for a distance of 0.8km to its junction with the R161. At the junction turn right and travel for a distance of 5.8km to its junction with the L-4010 and arrive on the west side of the bridge.

Diversion signs will be in place. Local Access will be facilitated.

 

Submissions and observations to the proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing to the Administrative Officer, Transportation Department, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan, Co. Meath, C15 Y291 or by email to transport@meathcoco.ie on or before Wednesday 17th October, 2018.
