Temporary Closure of L-2200 & L-4009, Co. MEATH

 

Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close the L-4009 and L-2200 at Ballinter Bridge in the townlands of Ardsallagh and Ballinter from Monday 12th March 2018 for a period of six weeks to facilitate emergency works at Ballinter Bridge – Millrace Arch.

 

Alternative Routes:

 

From North to South;

Drive north on the L-4009 for approximately 3.1km to its junction with the R147. Turn right and continue for approximately 4.3km on the R147 to its junction with the L-2201. At the junction, turn right onto the L-2201 and continue for approximately 1.6km to its junction with the L-2200. At the junction turn right onto the L-2200 and continue for approximately 1km until you come to the south side of the bridge.

 

From South to North;

Drive south on the L-2200 for approximately 1km to its junction with the L-2201. At the junction, turn left onto the L-2201 and continue for approximately 1.6km to its junction with the R147. At the junction, turn right onto the R147 and continue for approximately 4.3km to its junction with the L-4009. At the junction, turn left onto the L-4009 and continue for approximately 3.1km until you come to the north side of the bridge.

 

Diversion and information signage will be in place.

Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
