ROAD RACE DUNBOYNE ATHLETIC CLUB 

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF L2228 (OLD R156) IN DUNBOYNE VILLAGE FROM ITS JUNCTION WITH THE L2227 (OLD R157 – NAVAN/MAYNOOTH ROAD) FOR A DISTANCE OF 100M 

 

Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close the L2228 (Old R156) in Dunboyne Village from its junction with the L2227 (Old R157 – Navan/Maynooth Road) for a distance of 100m.

 

The closure will be as listed below;

 

  • The L2228 (Old R156) in Dunboyne Village from its junction with the L2227 (Old R157-Navan/Maynooth Road) for a distance of 100m

 

The closure will take place on Sunday, 25th March, 2018 from 3.00p.m. to 3.45p.m.

 

This road closure is required to facilitate the staging of a 4 mile road race by the Dunboyne Athletic Club.

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:  Diversion signs will be in place.

 

LOCAL ACCESS:  Residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
