NOTICE PURSUANT TO 177AE OF THE PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT ACT 2000 – 2016

RELATING TO A PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT BY MEATH COUNTY COUNCIL

 

TAKE NOTICE that Meath County Council propose to seek the approval of An Bord Pleanála to carry out the following development at Ninch, Laytown, Co Meath:

 

         ¾        The removal of 75m of the existing damaged coastal protection infrastructure of gabion baskets and to replace it with a rock armour revetment/stone faced retaining wall/railings/removal of one pedestrian access and the upgrading of 2 no. pedestrian accesses.

 

A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development. An Bord Pleanála may give approval to the application for development with or without conditions or may refuse the application for development.

 

The Natura Impact Statement and project particulars can be inspected free of charge or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during office hours at the offices of Meath County Council from Tuesday, 2nd May, 2017 to Friday, 16th June, 2017 (excluding Christmas to New Year, weekends and Bank Holidays) at the following locations:

 

  1. The Planning Section, Meath County Council, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan, County Meath C15 Y291
  2. Meath County Council, Laytown Bettystown Municipal District, Duleek Civic Office, Duleek, Co Meath A92 R9KW

           (Opening Hours 9.00a.m. to 1.00p.m. and 2.00p.m. to 4.00p.m.)

 

Submission and observations with respect to the proposed development dealing with:

  • the implications of the proposed development for proper planning and sustainable development in the area concerned;
  • the likely effects of the environment of the proposed development;
  • the likely significant effects of the proposed development on a European site, if carried out;

can be made free of charge to the board at An Bord Pleanála, 64 Marlborough Street, Dublin 1 before 4:30p.m. on Friday, 16th June, 2017.
