BEWARE BOGUS WASTE COLLECTORS - This is what a collection permit looks like

Date Released: 05 April 2017

BEWARE BOGUS WASTE COLLECTORS

This is what a collection permit looks like.  Be wary of the ‘Man with a Van’ offering to take your waste for disposal.  Check that they have a collection permit. Contact the Environment Section at 046 9097200 or check online at www.nwcpo.ie.

If they don’t have a collection permit, don’t give them your waste. If you do, this is where it may end up.  Always use a permitted waste collector.  Many bulky items can be taken to your local recycling centre for disposal.  Details at www.meath.ie/CountyCouncil/Environment/Recycling.
