TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD

 

Junction of the L-68081 and L-68082 in the townlands of Mullaghreagh and Ballintillan

 

Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council has made an order to close the junction of the L-68081 and L-68082 in the townlands of Mullaghreagh and Ballintillan.

This closure is required to facilitate urgent remedial works to Ardmagh Bridge.

DURATION

The closure will continue until Friday 28th April 2017.

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES

From East to West

The traffic is to be diverted northwest on the L-6808 to its junction with the R-164, and then continue southwest on the R-164 to its junction with the L-68081, and then east on the L-68081 to the West side of the bridge. 

From East to South

The traffic is to be diverted southeast on the L-6808 to its junction with the L-6810, and then continue west on the L-6810 to its junction with the L-68082, and then north on the L-68082 to the South side of the bridge.

From South to West

The traffic is to be diverted east on the L-6810 to its junction with the L-6808, and then continue northwest on the L-6808 to its junction with the R-164, and then southwest on the R-164 to its junction with the L-68081, and then east on the L-68081 to the West side of the bridge. 

From South to East

The traffic is to be diverted east on the L-6810 to its junction with the L-6808, and then continue northwest on the L-6808 to its junction with the L-68081, and then east on the L-68081 to the east side of the bridge.

 

 

From West to East

The traffic is to be diverted northeast on the R-164 to its junction with the L-6808, and then continue southeast on the L-6808 to its junction with the L-68081, and then west on the L-68081 to the East side of the bridge. 

From West to South

The traffic is to be diverted northeast on the R-164 to its junction with the L-6808, and then continue southeast on the L-6808 to its junction with the L-6810, and then continue west on the L-6810 to its junction with the L-68082, and then north on the L-68082 to the South side of the bridge.

 

Diversion signs will be in place.

 

Local Access

Residents and property holders will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.
