AN OPPORTUNITY TO ADVANCE YOUR BUSINESS THIS MONTH!

Innovation is the buzz word in the business world today. Government funders give priority to ‘innovative’ businesses in their support programmes. Banks, investors, the EU... all are seeking innovative people and companies to fund.

What does ‘innovation’ mean? Is my business ‘innovative’?  What does it take to be defined by grant and investment assessors as ‘innovative’? How can you better make the case that you and your business are ‘innovative’? These are common questions we hear working with businesses every day.

There are many supports on offer from Innovation Vouchers and planned new Government and Agency support programmes including the much talked about ‘Horizon 2020’ with €70 billion (yes billion!) allocated by the EU to support collaboration on innovation between businesses and higher education institutes across the EU. Our Governments and the national support agencies want to find and help forward the projects for funding support. Could you be one?

Louth and Meath Local Enterprise Office and Newry & Mourne Enterprise Agency are working on an EU Innovation Alliance Programme and are delighted to offer to selected companies the opportunity to avail of a one day investment of your time where you will

  • Be among the first 40 companies in Europe to access new Innovation Support Information
  • Find out about funding opportunities for innovative companies
  • Have the opportunity to be included in a European database of companies and universities throughout Europe who are looking for partners to work with
  • Avail of cross border networking opportunity with likeminded progressive companies

The event will be held in DKIT and you can chose to attend on May 23rd or 24th from 9.30am-4.30pm and is free of charge to attend.

This project has been funded with support from the European Commission
